A school magazine is a periodical by a school.
It is generally published once a year. It shows the standard of the school. It
is not easy to publish a magazine. At first a committee is formed by the head
teacher of the school. The head teacher acts as the president on the committee.
The editor is often a student. Most of the members on the committee are
students. The editor invites writings from the students and teachers. The
writings include essays, stories, short plays, jokes, poems, paintings, etc. When
the writings are collected, the editor selects the nest ones with the help of
other students and teachers. Then these are sent to a printing press forprinting.
The Magazine fund of the school is the main source to meet the
expense. Besides it, some money is collected from advertisements. The magazine
is given free to the students. The students read it with great care and they
become very happy when they find their writings in print. It helps the students
to develop their power of thinking. It makes them eager to learn more. They
begin to study great works of famous writers so that they can learn how to
write a good article for the magazine .thus a school magazine gas great influence on students mind.
